Over the years we’ve filmed some of the acts who have taken our stage. Here’s a selection of the sessions we’re proudest of.
Back in November we had musical legend Gary Lucas performing live at the Circus — Lucas has written and performed with artists like Jeff Buckley and Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band. The Skinny came down to record Gary Lucas performing ‘Mojo Pin’, which he originally co-wrote with Jeff Buckley — on guest vocals is Jay Mathy. Check it out below.
At the end of April we had local lass and fast rising star, Nina Nesbitt, perform live to a packed-out crowd! She’s since been on tour supporting Ed Sheeran and Example, so is definitely one to watch on the UK music scene!
On Wednesday 11th April we had the excellent Simone Felice of The Felice Brothers fame performing here live. Check out the video below!
On Sunday 8th April we had an awesome club night put on by State of Mind, a clothing label based in Edinburgh. Here’s the video they made of their night!
We recently had amazing up-and-coming band The Milk perform live for us at the Circus. We really think they’re going to be huge, so we’re thrilled we managed to get this amazing recording of them in action!
On the 13th March we had hip hop collective Souls of Mischief in the house. You can watch & listen below now!
And at the end of February, The Jezabels stopped by to perform for a sold-out crowd! Check out the video we made for their hit song, ‘Easy To Love’.
